(MOST OPTIMAL BUILD FOR ALL SITUATIONS) Build TLDR- other SP and Gadget are overrated, dmg gear is overrated too.
Dodgy Digging
Moe digs up some 'borrowed' goods, increasing his Super charge rate by 50% for 5 seconds.
Skipping Stones
Moe's basic attacks bounce one more time. The range of the attack remains the same.
Speed
Gain 15% Speed increase when moving in bushes.
Shield
Gain extra 900 Health as a consumable Shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health.
Guide
NOTE: balance changes are next week, most likely moe nerfs, stay tuned for edits to this one to account for him NOT being broken! (Surely)Hey, I'm BRD and I've played Moe since his EA offer and own him on 5+ accounts, I got his title on day 5 of EA and have 32k mastery as of now. I believe i am qualified to give tips on Moe and how to play him perfectly.
(note, if this gets good support ill drop a more advanced guide on other platforms!)How to play: (build notes down below)
Primary Attack
save ammo up and use it all at once, if all shots hit once its 3.6k dmg.
autoaim is criminally underrated at range, moe splits can hit multiple times and deals 2/3x the dmg at range, best way to hit these is barely missing at 65-85% of the shots distance.
aiming this sweet spot is hard and you can get a good chance of these with auto aimif moes hitbox is around 50% inside of a target, all pellets will hit dealing 4.8k dmg.
USE ON HEIST AND SHOWDOWN, MAKES FARMING BOXES AND SAFE DAMAGE A LOT EASIER.
nearly impossible to hit on a moving target but can occasionally win an interaction in rare casesSuper:
autoaim will go less than max distance if the target is closer and will usually always hit the drill + impact (must hit in order to get a reliable burst/finish off kill)
REMEMBER it deals 1.6k (x2 if both attacks hit) so if your going to use it just to get a pick (usually worth even in a trade)
it is usually worth it to just use drill attack to just get a kill if anyone is close to it, if not staying in it for movement boost (you upgrade to very fast in drill and gain an additional boost when attacking in that form. (speeding ticket makes you faster than HC max super.))Gadget comparison:
Super charge gadget heavily reduces super charge so use it 1/2 ways
to farm super early
to build another super post dismount (DO NOT POP GADGET THEN SUPER IN, IT WILL CLEANSE THE GADGET ONCE YOU SUPER.)Rat Race is usually inferior except on 2 occasions
break walls on select maps (BB maps and maybe SHD?)
brief stun to cancel some abilities enemies might not me usingStar powers:
just use skipping stones. speeding ticket is super overrated and the extra 1-2 hits from the extra split is super valuableGADGET BREAKDOWN:Shield: (Recommended) provides extra bulk and is great into other poke brawlers and snipers on ranged maps (turns 50/50 matchup into your favor!)SPD: (Recommended) makes him even more evasive and overall adds quality of life to the brawler, i almost entirely run this gear even on low bush maps (only avoid on maps with ABSOLUTELY NO BUSHES)DMG: (Overrated) only impact this gear has is making supers kill at higher rates in clutch scenarios, drill damage and main attack only win a few not worth extra interactions and after swapping builds you rarely notice not having it anymore+1: (Overrated) if you are good at Moe (or 100/0 matchup) you rarely struggle to farm super, its sometimes easy to forget the extra gadget exists and you can consistently waste them with improper use, its not like super is hard to build in the first placeHealth: (Bad) Moe usually plays poke in most games and health usually isn't that good in situations like those (also shield exists and is just better in those situations)VIS: (Underrated/Ranked Only) stellar into many comps in a few ranked maps, really easy to give up shield on maps like Double Swoosh and Center Stage into comps that struggle in neutral game.
Game Modes
Gem Grab
can win lane into most brawlers, GC potential, and play countdown both ways
Hot Zone
can contest and play for poke/pick, really underrated on these maps
Brawl Ball
high dps, nimble, and can score/defend easily
